Friday 5th March

It’s the last day of zoom learning (hopefully for forever!) You made it – well done! You have been absolutely brilliant over the last few weeks and you should ALL be really proud of yourselves! I can’t wait to see you all on Monday! πŸ˜€

If you’re feeling a little bit nervous, that’s absolutely normal (even I am a little bit too!) All of the routines will be exactly the same as before we went into lockdown. We will soon get the hang of it again and I will remind you of everything once you’re back. I will be ready to meet you at the gate and all of the adults will look after you! It will mainly be a day of settling back in and seeing our friends as I’m sure you’re all so excited to see each other! We also have some lovely artwork to look forward to in the afternoon πŸ™‚

Here is the plan for the final day today…

Flashback 4:

Maths – Zoom session 9:30

To finish our topic on 2D shape I thought it would be fun on our last day to create a 2D shape picture πŸ˜€

Paul Klee is a famous artist who is famous for using shape in his artwork. Here is one of his paintings called ‘Castle and Sun‘. What shapes can you see in his painting?

Can you create your own 2D shape drawing, painting or craft? What 2D shapes can you use in your picture? Be as creative as you can! Here are a couple of examples to give you some ideas:

Have fun! I can’t wait to see what you create! Please could you bring these back in with you along with your work packs on Monday as I will put them on display in the classroom!

Phonics – Zoom session

English

For our last zoom session, we are going to reflect on our time during home learning. Just bring your writing book or a plain piece of paper πŸ™‚

Afternoon Activity

Optional Assembly 2:00

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon doing something you enjoy!

Have a lovely weekend and I look forward to seeing you in person on Monday! πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Class 3 and Miss Haines,

We’ve made it to hopefully the last day of lockdown! You’ve all done so well! We really cannot wait to see you all back in school next week.

I can’t wait to get stuck into the shape pictures with the children in school!

I love your castle pictures! How creative you’ve all been!

Have a fab last day at home school and a brilliant weekend with your family.

    Take care
    Mrs SquireπŸ˜€
